Edge on Demand: The Future of Greg Hardy

This video is no longer available.

Coach Ron Rivera, not giving a timetable for bringing Greg Hardy back.  It was a last-minute decision by the coach, after some conversation with upper-management, to deactivate Greg Hardy from Sunday’s game.  And given that the atmosphere has changed, the question might not be when will Greg Hardy come back, but when should he come back.

But Hardy is still a play-maker, and deactivating him at the last minute was intended to send a message.  One not everyone agrees with.  And additional public pressure may be put on the Panthers, given that the Minnesota Vikings have reactivated Adrian Peterson after his arrest for beating his child. He has a court date this week, where he’s expected to enter a plea, but he’s also expected to play on Sunday.

So if Peterson’s back, why not Hardy?  It’s a big mix of messages and business.  So what do you think?  Should Greg Hardy be allowed to play until his legal issues are over?
