Chesterfield County woman located safely, search for kidnapper continues

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. -A 23-year-old woman reported missing out of Chesterfield County has been found safe Tuesday morning, but authorities say the suspected kidnapper is still on the run.

According to the sheriff’s office, Myasia McIver was abducted shortly after 8 p.m. Monday in the Cheraw area.

Deputies have identified the suspect as 29-year-old Kendrick Terry. He is believed to be driving a white 2017 GMC Terrain with a North Carolina license plate, FMK-5527.

Investigators warn Terry may be armed and dangerous. Anyone who spots him is urged to use caution and not approach.
