KERSHAW, SC — Lancaster County deputies are investigating a homicide that occurred early Thursday afternoon.
Deputies say the victims were found in a 2008 Nissan Altima on Pine Ridge Drive off Fork Road around 1pm. A man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds were found in the front seats, and an uninjured 4-year-old boy was in the backseat.
Officials say the man, 30-year-old Vincent Lambert, Jr., of Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but her current condition is unknown.
At this time, investigators say it appears someone shot at the car while they were traveling down Pine Ridge Drive. No arrests have been made.
