CMPD identifies man found dead in home on Florentine Way in northwest Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – We now know the name of the man gunned down in northwest Charlotte.

It happened around nine AM Wednesday on Florentine Way. Officers say they were called to the area over a burglary. When they got to the scene, they say they found 40-year-old Luis Sharp dead.

Officers say they are not looking for any suspects, but have yet to say if they’ve made any arrests.
