CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a motel room in north Charlotte Monday morning.
CMPD were called out to Charlotte Garden Inn Suites on Reagan Drive near I-85 after 57-year-old James Timothy Rowland was found unresponsive inside a room. Police said Rowland had apparent injuries when he was found.
On Tuesday however, the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner’s Office announced that the cause of death was not ruled a homicide. Officials have not yet provided any more detail on how Rowland died.
