ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say they arrested a woman for her involvement in a home invasion that happened in Rock Hill.
Detectives say the robbery happened around 10:30pm on May 11th. The suspect, Derrisha Meeks, and two unidentified males are accused of robbing a 35-year-old man.
Police say one of the suspects knocked on the victim’s door on Westerwood Drive and asked to use the phone. The victim reportedly allowed the man to use the phone. A short time later, Meeks and another suspect entered the home. Police say Meeks pointed a handgun at the victim and robbed him.
The three suspects then fled in a dark colored sedan, according to a news release. Investigators say they determined Meeks was the female involved in the case. She was arrested in Rock Hill. Meeks has been charged with burglary, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy and possession of a weapon during a crime of violence.
Meeks bond was reportedly denied. No other details have been released at this time.
