CMPD: Victim Shot In Apparent Uptown Drive-By, Says He Doesn’t Know Suspect Or Motive
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a person was shot Monday night in Uptown.
The shooting happened just before 9pm at N. Tryon under the I-277 bridge. The victim told police he was walking with a friend when he heard a shot, then felt the bullet go through his arm and into his torso.
CMPD says his injuries are non-life threatening at this time.
The victim says he does not know who shot him or why.
Investigators say the only suspect description they have at this time is a light colored vehicle with three people inside.
