Charlotte Premium Outlets to add 2 national brands to retail lineup

The Charlotte Premium Outlets is expanding its retail lineup with two nationally-known brands coming later this year: Timberland and Champs Sports. 

The new additions will cater to both outdoor lifestyle shoppers and sports enthusiasts, director of marketing and business development at Charlotte Premium Outlets Scott Anderson said.

“New openings should do more than add names to a list; they should make the experience better for the customer,” said Anderson. “Timberland and Champs Sports bring fresh energy and even more choice, making it easier to find the right fit, from sneakers and training gear to outdoor lifestyle staples.”

Timberland, known for its iconic yellow boot, offers footwear, apparel, and accessories for performance and everyday use in any weather. Champs Sports provides performance footwear, clothes, and more from big-name brands like Nike, Jordan, and Adidas.

Champs Sports will open in June next to the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store. Timberland is set to open in August, and will be located next to the Old Navy.

The Charlotte Premium Outlets will be opening three additional stores over the next four months. Portland Leather Goods, which offers handmade bags and purses, opens tomorrow, Thursday, April 9th. OFFLINE by Aerie delivers activewear for women and is expected to open in June.Lastly, Ulta Beauty, known for offering all-in-one experience for cosmetics, skincare, and more, will open in July.
