Parents Outraged After Racial Slurs Assignment

Parents are a Virginia High School are demanding answers after their kids received an assignment that was full of racial slurs.

One student’s mom says, there was a piece of paper hung in her son’s classroom that said, “Black” at the top and below had phrases such as “all Black People eat fried chicken” and “Can’t swim”. The school has apologized and said the purpose of the assignment was to remind students of the harm that can be caused by stereotypes.
