Judge Orders 30-Year-Old Man To Move Out Of His Parents Home

A New York judge ordered a 30-year-old man to get out of his mom and dad’s house.
Michael Rotondo’s parents sued when he refused to leave on his own.

Rotondo says he moved back into his parents’ home in Syracuse, NY after he lost a job 8 years ago.
His parents say he’s a free-loader who doesn’t pay bills and won’t help with chores.
They’ve given him five eviction notices since the start of February.
They even gave him $1,100 to help with moving expenses, but Rotondo told the judge: his parents should have given him more time to find another place to live.
“A six-month notice is a reasonable amount of time for someone who has been depending on persons for support,” Michael Rotondo said in court.

Rotondo says he now plans to appeal the judge’s decision.
