KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Google has signed a lease for a warehouse facility in Kannapolis.
The nearly 730,000-square-foot building is located at the Overlook 85 Industrial Park, at Exit 65 off I-85 on Old Beatty Ford Road.
The warehouse will serve as a warehousing and logistics hub for Google’s supply supply chain operations, with a third-party logistics provider contracted to manage the site.
The facility was developed by Hudson Capital Properties and marketed by Foundry Commercial.
City officials emphasized the building is not a data center.
