9 Suspects Arrested, Nearly 100 Criminal Charges Filed In Albemarle Round-Up

ALBEMARLE, NC — Authorities arrested nine suspects during a Wednesday round-up that also resulted in nearly 100 criminal charges.

The round-up took started early Wednesday morning and lasted most of the day. Police say nine out of 11 suspects were taken into custody, and resulted in 97 criminal charges.

The following suspects were arrested and charged:

  • Kenny McKinney, 46
    • Charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Sell Cocaine, Felony Deliver Cocaine, and Felony Possession of Cocaine.
  • Deonta Lilly, 29
    • 2 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin, Felony Sell Heroin, Felony Deliver Heroin, Felony Possession of Heroin, Misdemeanor Maintaining a Dwelling used for keeping and selling Controlled Substance.
  • Kenya Smith, 20
    • Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Sell Marijuana, Felony Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Sell Cocaine, Felony Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession Cocaine, and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana up to 1/2 ounce.
  • Amaud Allen, 26
    • 2 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin, Felony Sell Heroin, Felony Deliver Heroin, Felony Possession of Heroin, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling used for keeping and selling Controlled Substance.
  • Ronald Baldwin, 63
    • 2 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Sell Cocaine, Felony Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling used for keeping and selling Controlled Substance.
  • Karsten Watkins, 36
    • 5 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver SCH I Controlled Substance, Felony Sell SCH I Controlled Substance, Felony Deliver SCH I Controlled Substance, Felony Possession SCH I Controlled Substance.
  • Michael Simmons, 42
    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Sell Cocaine, Felony Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling used for keeping and selling Controlled Substance.
  • Timothy Richardson, 42
    • 2 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver SCH II Controlled Substance, Felony Sell SCH II Controlled Substance, Felony Deliver SCH II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling used for keeping and selling Controlled Substance.
  • Haywood Richardson, 20
    • 2 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Cocaine, Felony Sell Cocaine, Felony Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession of Cocaine.

The following suspects are still wanted by authorities:

  • Jshawn Borden, 21
    • Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin, Felony Sell Heroin, Felony Deliver Heroin, Felony Possession of Heroin.
  • Jennifer Gray, 53
    • 2 counts each of Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver SCH III Controlled Substance, Felony Sell SCH III Controlled Substance, Felony Deliver SCH III Controlled Substance, Felony Maintain Dwelling used for keeping and selling Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Simple Possession of SCH III Controlled Substance.
