Lincoln County detectives make arrests in alleged child trafficking case
(LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C.) — On May 18, 2026, Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robyn Amber Rohrl, 36, and Timothy Matthew Jenkins, 44 following an investigation into allegations involving human trafficking of a minor and exposing a child to controlled substances.
Robyn Rohrl has been charged with Human Trafficking of a Minor and Exposing a Child to a Controlled Substance. Timothy Jenkins has been charged with Exposing a Child to a Controlled Substance.
These arrests are the result of an ongoing investigation conducted by members of the LCSO Criminal Investigations Division. Due to the sensitive nature of the case and the involvement of a minor, additional details are not being released at this time.
The Lincoln County Sheriffβs Office remains committed to protecting children and holding accountable those who seek to exploit or endanger them. Detectives continue to actively pursue leads and encourage anyone with information related to this investigation to come forward.
Both Robyn Rohrl and Timothy Jenkins are being held at the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center without bond.
