GASTONIA, N.C. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Gaston County Sheriff’s Corporal Katelyn Self who was killed in a family tragedy.
The funeral is set for Sunday, June 10th at Gastonia First Assembly Of God, 777 South Myrtle School Road in Gastonia. The service begins at 4 p.m. Receiving friends takes place at 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m.
Burial to follow at Hovis Family Cemetery on Plonk Road in Dallas N.C.
Gaston County Deputy Katelyn Self died when her father, Roger Self, rammed his SUV into a Bessemer City restaurant with his family inside last month. His daughter-in-law Amanda Self was also killed and several others were injured.
