Man Shot In The Leg In North Charlotte, Possible Suspect Being Questioned

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg Wednesday evening in north Charlotte.

The shooting happened just before 7:30pm on Julia Avenue. Police say one person was shot in the leg and taken to CMC with non-life threatening injuries.

 

Police have recovered three guns so far, and say one person has been detained as a possible suspect. Officials say that person is not yet under arrest and no charges have been filed.

Investigators believe there is only one suspect in the case, but say a motive has not yet been determined.

The investigation is ongoing.
