LENOIR, N.C. — Authorities in Caldwell County are looking for a suspect wanted for shooting a man during an altercation in Lenoir Wednesday evening.
Marcus Michaux, 42, is wanted for Assault With a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
On June 6th, 2018, at about 6:19 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding an altercation in a parking lot located at 313 Greenhaven Drive, in Lenoir.
Arriving officers located a male victim in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers used a tourniquet render medical aid until first responders arrived. The victim transported to Caldwell United Health care for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Michaux and the victim were known to each other and had been engaged in an ongoing dispute.
Tammie Michaux, 39, was arrested and charged with Assault by Pointing a Gun and two counts of Resist Delay and Obstruct for her involvement in the incident.
