Newly released video shows arrest of Sun Drop murders suspect
PORT ANGELES, WA — Newly released bodycam video shows murder suspect, Johnny Talbert, being placed in handcuffs by the Port Angeles Police Department in the state of Washington.
The 43-year-old was arrested in May for the murders of Darrel Noles and Donna Barnhardt. The two were killed at the now closed Sun Drop bottling plant in 2008 in Concord. The nearly two decade long cold case has hung over the city and it’s residents since then.
According to the Port Angeles Police Department, they’ve had nearly 300 police contacts with Talbert since 2011. They say he has been living in a transient community for years.
Body cam video shows officers were well aware of Talbert as he’s being placed in cuffs.
Talbert has an extradition hearing scheduled for tomorrow.
