Crews working overnight to repair water main break on busy Selwyn Ave.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Crews are working overnight to repair a water main break in Myers Park. It happened around 5 Monday afternoon on Selwyn Avenue.

Charlotte Water says the break is affecting service for nearby homes and businesses. That break also created a sinkhole, which led to that roadway being closed for hours.

It is still unclear when repairs will be complete.
