Sink hole repairs expected to snag traffic through end of week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sinkhole repairs in Myers Park will continue to cause traffic headaches through the rest of the week. These issues began after a water main break on Selwyn Avenue on Monday.

Charlotte Water says the pipe has been repaired, and now crews are re-building and re-paving the area.

A manager at a nearby business says it’s been challenging for customers to navigate the area. Milano Italian Market manager Haylea Sowul says, “I mean, luckily we have that one entrance over there. I feel like a lot of people figure out to get through that way. But with the road kind of being blocked off, a lot of the business has slowed down a little bit for sure.”
