Authorities: Sherrills Ford man encouraged 16-year-old to expose themselves on camera

SHERRILLS FORD, N.C. – A Sherrills Ford man is accused of child exploitation. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Dustin Lineberger last Friday.

It comes after local authorities got information from law enforcement in Ohio.

Lineberger is facing 10 felony counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Warrants say he encouraged the 16-year-old victim to expose themselves on camera.

He’s being held in the Catawba County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond.
