Kidnapping suspect accused of forcing woman into vehicle and leading police on chase
LINCOLNTON, N.C. – A man in Lincolnton is facing kidnapping charges. Lincolnton Police say witnesses saw 41-year-old Timothy Michael Brittain force a woman into a vehicle on East Main Street on Wednesday during a domestic incident.
Officers already in the area chased him until he stopped at the Red Rabbit, an antique shop, on Highway 27, where he was taken into custody.
Brittain is also charged with driving while impaired, driving with license revoked, and an open container violation.
