Char-Meck Animal Care & Control waiving cat & kitten adoption fees through July 5

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees on cats and kittens through July 5th. It’s part of the shelter’s Red, White, and Mew! event.

They say June is known as the middle of “kitten season.” This month alone, Animal Care and Control has taken 470 cats and kittens into the shelter.

All those adopted will go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
