ROCK HILL, SC — Police have charged a 24-year-old Clover man with a string of armed robberies that took place throughout Rock Hill.
Jemarcus Burris was arrested on June 14th on warrants from the York County Sheriff’s Office. While in custody, Rock Hill Police say they were able to connect Burris to six armed robberies that occurred between March 21 and April 27.
Burris has now been charged by the RHPD with six counts each of Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and five counts of Criminal Conspiracy.
Police say they also charged Ashley Wallace with five counts of Criminal Conspiracy during her arrest by the RHPD, also on June 14. Police say she was an accomplice to Burris’ crimes.
