Saudi Ban On Women Driving Ends

More than 120,000 Saudi Women have applied for a driver’s license. It comes hours after the country lifted it’s decade old ban on women driving Sunday.

The move keeps women from having to hire a male driver to take small distances, allowing many more to join the workforce, grow their own businesses and explore the kingdom.

Many restrictions including the right to marry, work or travel are still in place.
