ALBEMARLE, NC — Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting Monday morning outside a VFW Hut.
A shooting was reported on Anderson Road around 10:34am. When officers arrived they found 35-year-old Jason Braley, of Gold Hill, lying in the road near the entrance to the VFW Hut with multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect, Hasan Webster, of Badin, was still on scene, according to police. Investigators say Badin and Webster got into a heated argument in which Badin was shot multiple times.
Webster, 25, has been charged with First Degree Murder.
