President Trump Campaigns in South Carolina for Gov. McMaster

WEST COLUMBIA, SC –Β Storms delayed President Trump’s campaign stop in West Columbia on Monday night. He arrived about an hour late, but that didn’t stop him from throwing his support behind Governor Henry McMaster ahead of Tuesday’s primary runoff.

“Henry was there at the beginning. He’s a fighter. He’s tough. He’s strong. And he’s a gentleman,” Trump told the crowd.

McMaster is being rewarded with the endorsement because he was an early Trump supporter.

“Donald Trump has kept every promise that he’s made. We love him,” McMaster told the crowd.

The typical Trump campaign rally featured the Commander-in-Chief riffing on a variety of topics including North Korea and the controversy over immigration.

Outside the venue, protesters made their voices heard as well.
