Academy Invites 928 New Members

Sticking by it’s promise to be more diverse… the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited a record 928 members to join. This year’s class is 49% female and 38% people of color. Some of the new members include Mindy Kaling, Tiffany Haddish, Emilia Clarke, Kendrick Lamar and Dave Chapelle.
