Charlotte Fire Dept. helmet cam captures intense video of possible lightning-strike fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Must-see video video from a Charlotte Firefighter’s helmet cam. It shows the flames as crews battled a mobile home fire on Friday afternoon in northeast Charlotte.

It happened on Carnival Street, off North Tryon Street. We’re told a lightning strike is one potential cause they are investigating.

Crews brought the fire under control in less than 20 minutes, but the home sustained extensive damage.
