CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A serious accident shut down all lanes on I-77 South near Sunset Road and W.T. Harris Boulevard before noon on Saturday.
According to Medic, one person with life threatening injuries was taken to Carolinas Medical Center and two people were treated for minor injuries and taken to Novant Huntersville.
The crash involved multiple vehicles and multiple ejections according to Medic.
