CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car crashed into a tree on Freedom Drive around 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Charlotte Fire Department had to remove limbs from the tree to extract the vehicle.
Medic says one person was taken to CMC.
The inbound lane of Freedom Drive at Ashley Road is currently blocked.
Traffic is light around the area.
