CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Five people have been taken to the hospital after a severe crash along South Boulevard Thursday morning.
The crash happened on South Boulevard just south of Arrowood Road.
Four of the injured people were taken to CMC Main and one was taken to Novant Health.
Three of the injured are children.
No word on what led up to the crash.
The inbound lanes were shut down temporarily but have since reopened. Traffic is flowing normally in the area.
