LINCOLNTON, NC — A Charlotte man will face a judge tomorrow, charged with repeatedly raping a child in Lincolnton.
Andre Bracey is locked up on a $300,000 bond. Police say he raped a child who is under the age of 16 between July 5 and September 10. He turned himself in Wednesday. His half-sister, Sabrina Gilmore, spoke to WCCB Charlotte.
“I told him, just made him go up there, because that was what was said, and I told him to go up there to his grandma’s house so he can tell them he didn’t do it,” she said. “If he didn’t do it, why would he be locked up if he said he didn’t do it?”
Police say Bracey has prior convictions for Larceny in Lincoln County.
