Three brothers arrested for arson after fire set at business they own

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Three brothers were arrested in connection to a 2024 arson incident at Surefire Neighborhood Market. The incident occurred on July 14, 2024 on 702 Ogden Road, where the market was found on fire by law enforcement. The initial investigation determined that there were no links to electrical causes.

After further investigation, evidence indicated that a melted trashcan, found at the scene, was where the fire originated. Surveillance video was obtained, showed the three owners of the business at the scene when the fire started. Video also showed the three individuals leaving together as smoke filled the business.

Three warrants were issued for arson. Lubika Lutuangu, Manzanza Lutuangu and Mayimona Lutuangu were arrested and booked in the Rock Hill Jail.
