Forecast:
Wednesday: Rain will be mainly north of I-40 through the day. Isolated showers possible today in the Piedmont, but it’s not until overnight that rain becomes widespread. Breezy. Hot and humid ahead of cold front.

Overnight / Thursday: Flood threat as a “rain train” could set up over parts of our area. 1-3” of rain likely with isolated 3-5” possible.

Thursday: Rough morning drive with heavy downpours and localized flooding possible. Rain becomes scattered by the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s, near 80.

Friday: Partly sunny. Highs near 80. Scattered showers.

Saturday: Scattered to numerous showers high in the low 80s.

Tropics:
Tropical Storm Bertha will continue bringing gusty wind, heavy rain and storm surge to the Gulf Coast through the week.
