Heavy rains cause flash flooding on roadways

UNION CO., N.C. – Heavy rain overnight causing flooding issues across our area. In Union County, a car got stuck in floodwaters as the driver tried to cross a bridge on Ridge Road.

We’re asking if that person was able to escape on their own.
