FORT MILL, SC — Police say one of the people involved in a head-on collision Thursday afternoon has died.
The accident happened just before 1pm on Highway 21 Business (Spratt Street) near the intersection of the Fort Mill Parkway. Investigators say two vehicles collided head-on, and one person has been pronounced dead.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Police say the investigation into the collision is ongoing, a complete closure remains in effect for the section of that highway between the Fort Mill Parkway and Highway 21 North. Drivers are being allowed to continue from Spratt Street onto the Fort Mill Parkway.
