The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a Circle K robbery last week.
Kodi Woodley, 39, has been arrested and charged for his role in two robberies from businesses.
On Tuesday, July 17th, 2018, CMPD Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 900 block of N. College Street. The caller said that the person had been involved in a recent robbery.
Officers made contact with the subject, who was later identified as Woodley, and determined he matched the description of the suspect who robbed the Circle K, located at 701 N Graham Street, on Friday, July 13th, 2018.
Woodley was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with two counts of Common Law Robbery for robbing the Circle K and the Harris Teeter, located at 325 W. 6th Street.

The CMPD has released an image of the man suspected of robbing an uptown Circle K on Friday morning.
Police say the suspect is a black male in his early twenties, approximately 5 feet six inches tall with a medium build.
Authorities say the man entered the business and took money from the register while implying he had a gun and threatening to shoot an employee during the robbery.
Witnesses say he fled on foot toward W 10th street.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for the man who robbed an Uptown gas station early Friday.
Officers with CMPD were called around 1 a.m. to the Circle K, 701 N. Graham Street, where an armed robbery took place.
Police say a man entered the store and robbed the business. Witlessness say it appears a customer ran out of the gas station while the suspect was still inside.
Once the suspect exited the store, the customer fired shots and fled the scene.
The robbery suspect is still on the loose.
