2 dogs rescued from west Charlotte house fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Firefighters rescued two dogs from a burning house in west Charlotte.

The fire was reported at a home on Ringwood Street near Berryhill Road around 1 p.m. Friday. The homeowners were away at the time, but firefighters were able to rescue two dogs from inside.

The blaze was put out in under 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
