CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need your help identifying a man accused of tying up a man and robbing him in east Charlotte.
Investigators say the suspect entered the victim’s residence on Barncliff Road Sunday morning. The victim claims he was tied up and robbed.
The suspect is accused of stealing the victim’s burgundy colored 1999 Mercedes Benz ML320 with NC License Plate Number DFR1601.
The suspect is described as a black male who may go by the name ‘Rakeem’. Police say he is in his 40’s, approximately 6’2″ tall, thin build and weighs about 170lbs.
The suspect may still be driving the stolen Benz, which has not been located. Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
