GASTONIA, N.C. — One family was displaced after an apartment fire in Gastonia. Β Fire officials say they responded to an apartment complex on Jondon Lane early Monday morning. Β
It took approximately 10 minutes for firefighters to get the fire under control. Β Officials say a malfunction in the dryer caused the fire. Β
The fire caused approximately $25,000 in damages. Β The family was not home at the time. Β No injuries were reported.
