JEFFERSON, SC — A volunteer firefighter in Chesterfield County, SC has been charged with arson.
Chesterfield Sheriff Jay Brooks tells WCCB that investigators arrested 17-year-old Christian Hargett after a vacant house fire Wednesday afternoon.
Hargett, a volunteer for the High Point VFD in Pageland, SC, is also a suspect in several other suspicious fires.
Brooks says more charges could be coming.
