2 women charged in deadly street racing crash that killed 17-year-old boy
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two women are in jail, accused in a street racing crash on I-85 that killed a teen motorcyclist. Julia Henderson and Estrella Gutierrez-Perez are both charged with second degree murder and spontaneous speed competition resulting in death.
According to a warrant, Henderson was going over 132 miles per hour when that crash happened July 25th in the south bound lanes of I-85 near the Sugar Creek Exit.
Troopers say 17-year-old Alex Rodriguez was thrown from his motorcycle, and died after being hit by the speeding cars.
