Trump says man working for Charlotte-based mission is now free 9 months after being kidnapped
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A missionary working for a Charlotte-based organization is now free after being held captive in Niger for nine months.
According to President Donald Trump, Kevin Rideout has been reunited with his wife and is now preparing to return home to the United States.
Rideout works with SIM International, which is a Christian mission organization based in Charlotte. He was kidnapped outside his home in the country’s capital last October.
