CMS teachers and staff prepare for new school year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – With one week to go before students return to class in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, teachers and school staff are getting classrooms ready.

We dropped by Harding University High School on Tuesday. The school is preparing to welcome 1,200 students next Tuesday. We spoke with Harding’s new principal. Kevin Poirier says, “Lots of prep going on, schedules being finalized, and just ready to welcome back our Ram Scholars family. Staff came back yesterday. They’re ready for an amazing open house and an amazing school year.”

Harding University High School is also welcoming 25 new staff members this school year.
