Silfab announces it is temporarily furloughing some employees

FORT MILL, S.C. – Solar panel manufacturing company Silfab is temporarily furloughing a portion of its work force at its Fort Mill facility.

A spokesperson for the company says it is due to issues getting materials needed for production. They say all core operations will continue, but at reduced shifts.

They hope to bring affected employees back in the next three to four weeks
