Alpha School brings 2-hour learning model to Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new private K-8 school in Charlotte is taking a different approach to the traditional school day.

Alpha School Charlotte uses AI-driven personalized learning to help students complete core academics in two hours each morning. Afternoons focus on real-world skills, including leadership, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

Lead Guide Timothy Berry joined WCCB Rising to explain the model as Alpha School Charlotte prepares for its first school year this fall.
