CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have signed offensive lineman Tyler Larsen to a two-year contract extension, according to the team.
Larsen, who is now under contract through the 2020 season, is in his third season with the Panthers . He was an undrafted rookie out of Utah State in 2014 and following stints with Miami and Washington, Larsen was signed by Carolina in the spring of 2016 where he was on the practice squad for the first half of the season.
In the 2017 season, Larsen played in a career-high 14 games with 10 starts. He filled in for injured center Ryan Kalil and helped the Panthers rank fourth in the NFL in rushing at 131.4 yards per game. Carolina was one of two teams with three or more 200-yard rushing games.
In 23 games played, Larsen has 15 starts over the last two seasons with the Panthers.
