GASTON COUNTY, N.C. – Gaston County Police are investigating a shooting near the 2600 block of Forbes Road just south of Gastonia.
According to the Gastonia Police Department, “At approximately 8:43 a.m., Gaston County Communications received a 911 call reporting a shooting near the 2600 block of Forbes Road. County Police patrol officers arrived at approximately 8:48 a.m. and located four victims inside a residence… Officers immediately secured the scene and began providing lifesaving measures to the victims until fire and EMS personnel arrived.”
One nearby resident tells WCCB, “I did hear a fire truck show up maybe around 8:30. Then the cops were outside of the home telling people to come out of the house on their megaphone.”
