CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte Department of Transportation announced Friday that a portion of Park Road will close this weekend while crews work to install new storm water drains.
The southbound lanes of Park Road between Marsh Road and Hillside Avenue will close at 6pm on Friday, August 10 and re-open on Monday, August 13 at 6am. Charlotte DOT says local access will still be available for residents and businesses in the area.
Crews will be installing storm water drains necessary for a future development, according to officials.
Pedestrians and drivers traveling through the area are asked to be cautious and to allow extra time for delays. Alternate routes are advised.
