Triple shooting in west Charlotte leaves two dead, one injured

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating a triple shooting in west Charlotte where two people have died. It happened in a parking lot of an apartment complex near Leake Street and Nobles Avenue around 6:00 Wednesday night.

Our crew on the scene saw detectives looking at two cars that appeared to have crashed. MEDIC says it took two of the three shooting victims to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say one of those victims died at the hospital. The third shooting victim showed up at the hospital on their own and later died. A juvenile at the scene was struck by a vehicle but has non-life threatening injuries.

No other information has been released.
